Are you an active Member of the Kings County Board of REALTORS®? If so, you or an immediate family member may be eligible to receive ONE of the Scholarships awarded by KCBOR. Scholarships awarded to high school graduate and college sophomore-senior students. Total $2,000 in scholarships to be awarded.
Mission Statement
The mission of the KCBOR Scholarship Program is to provide assistance in Funding for educational opportunities to REALTOR® Members and their families who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to and/or excellence in Kings County and academics.
Eligibility Rules
Eligibility is limited to Kings County Board of REALTORS® Members in good standing and their immediate family. An immediate family member is defined as a:
- Parent
- Sibling
- Child by blood, adoption, or marriage
- Spouse
- Grandparent or grandchild
- Immediate family spouses
Qualifications
Recipients must be planning to attend an accredited Community College, Trade/Vocational Institution, University, full time (12 units or more), or other accredited school and have a cumulative GPA equal to or greater than 3.0 for High School students and 2.50 for College students. Previous scholarship recipients may re-apply.
Application Requirements
- Application form: Must be filled out completely and returned prior to the application deadline.
- GPA Verification: Provide your official high school transcript or transcript from the school you are attending.
- Personal Essay: Refer to Kings County Board of REALTORS® Suggestions for Writing your Scholarship Essay.
- Letter of Recommendation: Submit three letters of recommendation. A recommendation
